No matter how long the slinky is, the bottom of the slinky will stay still (hover) until the top reaches it. Even if the slinky is over 1000 feet long.
This kind of shit is why I love physics.

hello.
the point of this tumblr, like most tumblrs i'm sure, is to edu-tain. i'm allowed to use that word because i am a middle class white person, and nothing turns white people on more than pseudo-inspirational neologisms. apart from maybe using the prefix 'pseudo'.
i'm a young whippersnapper currently studying at otago university to be a drug lord/apothecary, but i am already a qualified mind-melder. the username 'ordish' comes from a tiny caribbean island nation well-known for its exports of miniature owls. you might not think that's an important commodity, but that's because you're close minded.
